{"id":2507,"date":"2023-10-13T09:30:23","date_gmt":"2023-10-13T09:30:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kinse2u.my\/v2mazola\/?p=2507"},"modified":"2023-11-23T08:24:29","modified_gmt":"2023-11-23T08:24:29","slug":"sesame-oil-chicken","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kinse2u.my\/v2mazola\/2023\/10\/13\/sesame-oil-chicken\/","title":{"rendered":"Sesame Oil Chicken"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Sesame Oil Chicken is a traditional dish that automatically reminds us of home\ud83d\udc96 It is both healthy, delicious and surprisingly, very easy to make too\ud83d\ude04 Let Mazola give you the recipe of this wonderful dish using Mazola\u2019s Sesame Oil\ud83d\ude09\u2b07 A wiser and healthier choice always\u2728<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 chicken (800-900g)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1.5 tablespoons of oyster sauce<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 tablespoons of Chinese cooking wine (Shaoxing\/Huatiao wine)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 teaspoons of cornflour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Juice from 1 thumb size ginger (retain the pulp after juicing)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/3 cup of sesame oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 thumb size ginger \u2013 smashed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 cloves of garlic \u2013 minced<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pulp of juiced ginger (as above)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Marinated chicken<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 can of button mushrooms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/3 cup of Chinese rice wine<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Brine from a can of button mushrooms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 tablespoons of low sodium light soya sauce<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tablespoon of oyster sauce<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 tablespoons of premium dark soy sauce<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>0.5 teaspoon of chicken stock powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 teaspoon of sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Some corn-starch solution to thicken<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tablespoon of Chinese cooking wine<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>INSTRUCTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In a large bowl, add spring chicken, Oyster sauce, Shaoxing Chinese Cooking Wine, cornflour&nbsp; and Juice from 1 thumb size ginger (retain the pulp after juicing).&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mix them well and marinate in the refrigerator for approximately 1 hour.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To cook the chicken, heat up the clay pot or pan. Add 1\/3 cup of Mazola Sesame Oil, smashed ginger and slowly pan fry them for about 8 \u2013 10 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add 3 cloves of chopped garlic and the remaining pulp of the ginger juice prepared earlier.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the marinated chicken into the claypot. Give it a stir.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add water into the remaining marinated sauce and pour it into the claypot. Stir for 5 minutes. Add in 1\/3 cup of Chinese rice wine.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add brine of button mushrooms, 2 tbsp light soya sauce, 1 tbsp of oyster sauce and 1 tbsp of dark soya sauce. Stir them well. Add 1 can of button mushrooms, simmer for 15 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add 0.5 teaspoon of chicken stock powder, 1 tbsp of dark soya sauce. Stir them well. Add 1 tsp of sugar. Add cornstarch solution to thicken the sauce.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lastly, add 1 tbsp of Chinese cooking wine.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Mazola Sesame Oil Chicken is ready to be served.
