Bursting Sweetness, Just like Mom’s Love! 💚

Taste the soft, chewy goodness of homemade Onde-Onde, infused with the rich aroma of pandan and the golden touch of Mazola Corn Oil! 💕

Ingredients
For the dough:
250g glutinous rice flour
200ml pandan juice (blend pandan leaves with water and strain)
2 tbsp Mazola corn Oil
For the filling:
100g gula Melaka (palm sugar), finely chopped
For the coating:
150g grated coconut
A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Mix grated coconut with a pinch of salt and steam for 5 minutes. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, mix glutinous rice flour with pandan juice until it forms a smooth, pliable dough. Add Mazola corn Oil to the dough and knead for an extra soft texture and prevent sticking.
  3. Take a small piece of dough (about the size of a ping pong ball) and flatten it in your palm.
  4. Place a small amount of chopped gula Melaka in the center and seal the edges by rolling it into a smooth ball.
  5. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the onde-onde balls and cook until they float to the surface. Let them cook for another 1-2 minutes to ensure the gula Melaka melts completely.
  6. Remove the cooked onde-onde with a slotted spoon and immediately roll them in the steamed grated coconut to coat evenly.
